The hospital should validate your cover and eligibility for benefits with the fund. They must advise you of any amounts payable (such as your excess) prior to admission. On discharge you should check the account carefully to ensure that all details are accurately recorded.
The hospital will send the claim direct to the fund for payment and you will receive an advice of the benefits we have paid.
